Exciting news! I'm currently gearing up for a Kickstarter campaign to take "Whispering of Winds" to new heights. Your support will make a world of difference in bringing this dream to life. Follow the campaign here and stay tuned for exclusive rewards!

This is the first project that I created as a self-learner solo game developer back then. It might be immature, but I'm putting it up as a showcase. It is to record my game-making journey and show my improvement over time. Hope you guys can enjoy it and thank you for playing it!

ABOUT THIS GAME

Moxina is a First person Horror game. You will need to find keys to unlock some path and find ways to escape from moxina. Try to stay alive and don’t lose your way in the forests.

Story
Moxina comes from the pronunciation of Mô-sîn-á in chinese. It is a Taiwan Folklore as it is a child-like ghost that frequently appeared in the forest. It would hypnosis the targeted person and bring him to the forest. By toying with the victims, Moxina would feed the person with turd and insect by illusion.

The story begins with the main character becoming the scapegoat of his neighbour Mr.Huang and it continues...

Graphics
You can enable the effects (Bloom, Film Grain, Motion Blur, Ambient Occlusion) in the setting. It would be highly recommended to turn on the Bloom and ambient occlusion to enhance the game experience. However, It will slow down the fps at the sametime. It's best only when it fits to your computer graphics setting.

This one was a WAY more full experience than I expected, a couple confusing moments, but overall I really enjoyed my time with it.

There was A LOT going on!

i enjoyed this!

Just some thoughts! Maybe telegraphing scares too much in advance. If I see a spooky figure at a window from as far away as I can it ruins the suspense and tension and suprise because I am fully ready for it to occur, and I can stop and study the figure disarming it from my imagination more.

It's a good starting point for a new developer. There are a lot of cool ideas in this game but also a lot of really obvious mistakes that testing the game should have been able to detect. I laughed a ton while playing so I could never be mad. I wish you the best and don't stop making games!
